plastisol ink.
At HSP, our go-to ink is plastisol. This tried and true application allows for longer-lasting imprints that are consistent and vibrant in color.
This style allows a solid imprint with brighter, more opaque colors and will stand up to lots of machine washes. Likewise, it can be printed on nearly any garment or fabric. These prints do typically have a texture you can feel, so customers wanting a “no hand” finish to their prints may want to look at alternatives.
water-based ink.
Water-based inks are soft, breathable and soak into the fabric of the garment rather than sitting on top. These inks are often used to create more of a vintage look and feel. They’re also eco-friendly!
split fountain
Split fountain printing is a unique method that leaves each piece of apparel with its own custom ink gradient and is a creative way to print more than one color in a single pass.
metallic/glitter ink
Looking for a shimmering print that stands out? Try metallic or glitter inks. We keep several metallic colors in stock, including gold, silver, teal and bronze. Glitter inks can be special ordered on demand.
puff additive
Puff additive can be mixed with our plastisol inks to produce a “puffed” or raised print. This application is great for added texture and visual interest.
